I recently uninstalled Quicktime just because I never use it. Then I later found out that it was needed in order to run itunes.. all I wanted to do was listen to a bit of music but that couldn’t be done because I had to reinstall itunes. Its like Quicktime isn’t as popular as itunes so they just attatch it to itunes so that whenever itunes is downloaded, Quicktime is dragged along with it like the embarrassing uncle at a wedding.

So this is the incident that made me realize that allot of annoying things happen to me on a daily basis and recording them in a blog for other people to laugh at would be a good hobby to occupy my time. I had recently decided to fix a old work laptop, I got it about 2 years ago, and it was 2nd hand even then. Its a Toshiba Tecra M2, and ‘was’ a nice laptop until it became self aware and decided to systematically break. First it was the LCD screen that started to fail, then it was the only two USB slots decided to slowly die, and now to top it all off the built in mouse started to do whatever the hell it pleased, so whilst using the laptop every now and then when the mouse runs off around the screen, I have to wait, then I cant see anything because of an inch thick white line of, what I thought at first was dead pixels but later found out was something to do with dodgy wiring.

Annoyance?

The only way to fix the screen is to replace the whole LCD which I cant be bothered with because it is not actually my laptop and would be a waste of money..meh.

I think I have reached a part of my life where all the little annoying things have built up over the years and coughed up a new blog.
